My family has lived in Shorewood for over 17 years. I am a certified public accountant (CPA) with an accreditation in business valuation and I lead the transfer pricing and international business valuation practice at WTP Advisors. I have a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. My education and experience prepared me to provide process improvement and financial experience that is missing on the Shorewood City Council.
Over the past nearly two decades in Minnesota I have been active in Shorewood and the broader Twin Cities community. I served our local Troop (424) as an Assistant Scout leader - where I took scouts on many fun camping trips and treks. I served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer / Chair of the Finance Committee for at Global Minnesota (formerly Minnesota International Center) – a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that delivers world-class educational, diplomatic, and corporate programs that connect Minnesota to the world. More recently I co-taught a course on Transfer Pricing at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Business.
I grew up in Maine and have lived in big and small communities both in the United States and in Europe including Boston, Rochester, NY, Chicago, Paris, France, and Brussels, Belgium. Upon repatriation to the U.S. from Belgium in 2005, my wife, Kristine and I chose to raise our family in Shorewood largely because we value our community's natural setting and small-town community feel. Our three children have benefited from an outstanding education at Minnetonka schools (2 graduates and 1 at MHS). All three of our children have benefited from the immersion program, Vantage, International Baccalaureate, music and theater programs. Our two sons are Eagle Scouts. Being a part of the community and serving it is who we are as a family.
